Adults

At St James, we believe that it's important to keep learning and growing in faith throughout your life. So our educational program doesn't stop with Sunday School. We provide a range of educational opportunities throughout the year.

BIBLE & BOOK STUDIES
We meet regularly in the evening to for book or bible study series.

LENT
During the Lenten Season, we run an evening program with studies led by the Rector and the Christian Formation Committee. Recent studies have focused on the Beatitudes, and the Psalms of Ascent, Handel's Messiah, Prayer, Celtic Spirituality, and Forgiveness.

BECOMING AN EPISCOPALIAN
Adults new to our church are invited to formally affiliate with the Episcopal Church.  If you have never been baptized, we are delighted to offer that sacrament - please speak with the interim Rector.  If you have never been confirmed, you may prepare for confirmation as an adult or older teen.  If you come from a church where you have already been confirmed by a bishop, you can be received into the Episcopal Church.  You can also renew your baptismal vows in the presence of the bishop.  Preparation for confirmation, reception, and renew occurs regularly
